We were there for lunch and were given fresh bread while we waited for our order. The award winning chili was pretty good.
Stumbled upon this place because I took a wrong turn. I'm so glad I did, what an amazing meal, really. Everything was delicious. I read the reviews and ordered the chili just for the hell of it, it was absolutely delicious. I tried my daughter's grilled cheese, best grilled cheese ive ever had. I had the turkey dinner, better than my mother's thanksgiving spread. I don't know what it is about this place, everything I tried was absolutely amazing! One of of the best tasting meals I've ever had, anywhere. I wasn't the biggest fan of the waitress, but the food was so great that she didn't impact my experience enough to knock this down to 4 stars.
Great food, amazing staff, welcoming atmosphere! It's waitress(es) are very funny and friendly. I personally had the Cheeseburger from the Lunch menu (at 6:30 at night!), and it was one of the best burgers I've had. Dessert menu was super expansive, from simple ice cream to lemon meringue pie - lots of flexibility as well, i.e. subbing chocolate ice cream in for vanilla in the sundaes. Would 100% recommend this for anyone in Vermont or visiting the state as we were!

If I could give this place 10 stars, I would!!! I had banana pancakes; husband had blueberry pancakes. Amazing food!! Best blueberry pancakes we ever had (yes, my husband gave me some of his!). Banana pancakes were delicious! Real maple syrup was wonderful! Staff was friendly and efficient! Food so good, we went back for dinner that night – had Berry Chicken – lots of food, excellent homemade bread – we were stuffed!!! Service was great again! Ok, so we loved it so much we went back for breakfast the next day as well!! Husband had blueberry pancakes again! I had homemade raisin bread made into French toast – it was awesome! Food was plentiful, served quickly and hot. We didn’t eat anywhere else in Wilmington because the food was so terrific!!

A group of 4 of us went to Dots this past Tuesday while waiting for a tow truck after our truck broke down two hours away from home. We enjoyed a meal and explained our situation to the waitress who was very friendly. After we paid our bill we were told to "you need to leave because we have people waiting but good luck with your truck" by another waitress who might have been a manager. We left Dots to go stand outside in the 5 degree weather for 45 minutes until our ride home showed up. Decent food and a nice waitress, but awful customer service. I can promise you i will not be back!
